San Diego Trolley
The San Diego Trolley is an electric train that you can take to Mission
Valley, Old Town, downtown San Diego, El Cajon and the border with Mexico. Reminder: DO NOT go to
Tijuana, Mexico, without a valid passport, visa, and I-20; otherwise, you might not be allowed to
return to the United States.
Intercity Trains
The Amtrak train will take you to major cities in the United States. It is less
expensive than traveling by plane in the U.S. The train station is in downtown San Diego at the Santa Fe
Depot trolley stop.
